Shelly Annette Robinson was born in Gulfport, Mississippi, on March 11, 1967, and passed from this life on February 28, 2023. She lived in Gulfport until relocating to the Rockwall/Rowlett area in Texas during 2005 to be near family in this area.

Shelly met her husband Lance when they both were working for Domino's pizza in their corporate offices during March of 1991. Within 4 months they were married.

During her life Shelly earned two Master's Degrees and a Doctorate in Early Childhood Education. She was an elementary teacher for most of her working years, and also served as a Diagnostician in the Community Independent School District. In recent years she volunteered to serve at the Pregnancy Resource Center in Rockwall.

She is survived by her husband Lance Robinson and son Reed Robinson of Caddo Mills, daughter Ashlyn Robinson of Theodore, Alabama, parents Tom and Sherry Fortenberry of Gulfport, Mississippi, brother Matt Fortenberry and his wife Anne of Ocean Springs, Mississippi,granddaughter Georgia Renee Underhill, nephew Tyler Fortenberry and nieces Brittany Lewis, Emma Fortenberry and Katelyn Fortenberry, and many friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the Allen Funeral Home, 508 Masters Ave, Wylie, TX 75098.
