Shelton G. Bryan, 88, of Wylie passed away at his residence on Wednesday May 4, 2021.  Shelton was born on Thursday May 5, 1932 in Richlands, North Carolina.  His parents are the late Clifford and Adell (Bell) Bryan.  He had served with the Coast Guard.  After leaving the Coast Guard, Shelton worked as a big rig truck driver.  He married Beverley on May 30, 1989 in Mesquite, Texas.

Surviving Shelton is his wife of 31 years, Beverley Bryan of Wylie; sons, Shelton Glenn Bryan Jr of El Reno, Oklahoma, Charles Arthur Bryan of Odell, Illinois; step-daughter, Kerry Williams of Duncanville, Texas; step-sons, Charlie Foster of DeSoto, Texas and James Foster of Midlothian, Texas; sisters, Maxine Jarman of Mills River, North Carolina and Hilda St. Helen of Hendrsonville, North Carolina; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by parents Clifford and Adell Bryan and step-son Cal Foster.

A memorial service will be held at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday May 22, 2021 at 11:30 A.M.
