Steffanye Darnell Albertsen, 38, of Wylie, Texas, died Thursday, December 6, 2018, in an automobile accident. She was born October 22, 1980, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Dawn Cook and Bruce Albertsen.

Steffanye worked as a logistics analyst, most recently for Southern Glazers. She held two bachelor degrees from the University of Texas, one in psychology and one in literature. She loved animals and was a volunteer for Pug Rescue. She liked music, reading, fishing, cheering on the Cowboys and Mavericks, traveling and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Ethan Forester and Mila Ward; her mother Dawn Cook of Wylie, Texas; her father Bruce Albertsen of Sioux City, Iowa; her brother Beau Albertsen of Wylie, Texas; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held Friday, December 14 at 2:00pm at the Allen Funeral Home in Wylie, Texas with Pastor Al Draper officiating.
