Stella Watts, 97, of Wylie passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at her residence with her family by her side.  Stella was born on Wednesday, November 9, 1921 in Maud, Oklahoma.  Her parents were the late Roy Cherry and Cora (Davis) Cherry.  Stella married Ralph Watts.  She had been a bookkeeper  and was of the Baptist faith.

Stella is survived by her children, Gilbert Roy Watts and wife, Judy of Wylie and Lynnette Kay Lamb also of Wylie.  She also is survived by her 5 grandchildren, Randy Watts of Royse City, Rusty Watts of Wylie, Jason Lamb of Hephzibalh, Georgia, Melissa Lamb of Atlanta, Georgia and Cathy Crenshaw of Wylie; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great -great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Cora Cherry, her husband, Ralph Watts, her siblings, Allen Cherry, Vernon Cherry and Leola Hinson.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Elmwood Memorial Park in Abilene, Texas.
