Theodorus Ernst Scholtz, 73, passed away on Tuesday December 17, 2019 at his residence in Wylie.  Theodorus was born on Saturday November 30, 1946 in Pretoria, South Africa.  His parents are the late Jacobus and Elizabeth (Betty) Cronin Scholtz.  He had worked for First City Chemical before retiring.  Theodorus was of the Catholic faith. He was a member of the EXCELR8 (Accelerate) and the Dallas Running Community.

Surviving Theodorus is his ex-wife, Silver Scholtz of Wylie, his children; Theodore Scholtz and wife Charnette Scholtz of Houston, Vehan Scholtz-Sessa and husband Emilio of Wylie, and Shone Stark and husband Gareth Stark of South Africa; sister, Anna-Vera Korkie of South Africa and his 8 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel.  Dr. Derek Draper will officiate.
