Thomas Craig Ross passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024. He was born February 17th, 1948 at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois to Louis (Jack) and Lois Ross.

He is preceded in death by his sister Hazel "Dusty" Parker. He is survived by his wife Linda, children Jennifer and Chris Vann, Aaron and Jackie Ross, 1 Sister; Ethel Diane Renken and his grandchildren Madison, Brandon, Collin, and Matthew.

Tom enlisted in the US Air Force in 1966 where he would serve his country for 22 years, achieving the rank of Senior Master Sargent. Shortly after enlisting, he married the love of his life, Linda. Together they would travel the world and introduce their children to sights and experiences that few get to enjoy. Tom earned his college degree during his last assignment for the Air Force in Hawaii. He would graduate with a BS in Occupational Education from Wyland Baptist College.

Hired by Raytheon after retiring from the Air Force, Tom was called again to serve his country as a civilian He moved his family to Alice Springs, Australia. After returning to the United States he began working as a technical trainer for Raytheon, and then Intervoice Systems, and finally ending his career with Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Tom loved wood working, and would make beautiful and sturdy furniture for friends and family. He enjoyed SCUBA diving, and would frequently dive off the coast of Okinawa. Through the faithful witness of his SCUBA diving parter, Tom surrendered his life to Christ. He loved the Lord and was a faithful servant and a good friend to everyone he met. He was ordained as a Deacon at Hawala Heights Baptist Church in Hawaii. He was also the Chaplain of his motorcycle group, Faith Riders, Plano TX.
