Truman Edward Beesinger, of Hendrix, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at his home on June 16th, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. He was 91 years old.

Born on February 8th, 1933, in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Logan & Debbie (Newsom) Beesinger, fourth born son to the couple.

He grew up in Lavon, Texas where he played football for Community High School and met the love of his life, Martha "Irene" Smith. Truman and Irene were wed on the 1st day of November 1952.

Truman & Irene went on to create a life and love only most could dream of. They planted their roots in Wide Awake Wylie, Texas where they welcomed their son, Micheal, on February 20th, 1954, followed by their daughter, Kathy on March 10th, 1958. Their love truly lasted the test of time, through the good and the bad, they loved each other through it all.

Truman was a proud Army veteran and served his country with honor. He was a skilled mechanic, die maker, and lawn mower repairman, truly embodying the title of a jack of all trades.

A man of faith, Truman worshipped at Floyd United Methodist Church in his later years and found joy in hunting and fishing during his free time.

He is survived by wife of 71 years, Martha Irene Beesinger, daughter Kathy Sue Beesinger, granddaughter Shirley Beesinger Martin and husband Jack Martin, granddaughter Katy Jayne Lane and husband Britain Lane, great-grandchildren Kaley Ann Griffis, Riggs Micheal Lane, and Rilynn Kate Lane. Truman was also cherished by numerous friends who considered him a father figure.

Truman was preceded in death by his mother, Debbie (Newsom) Beesinger, father Logan Beesinger, three older brothers, son Micheal Edward Beesinger, and grandson Jerald "Shane" Beesinger.

Truman Edward Beesinger was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather and Friend, and will be remembered for his quiet nature, gentle spirit, pride in his work, and his deep love for his family. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished him.

A visitation will be held on June 19th, 2024, from 6pm to 8pm, with a funeral service the following afternoon on June 20th, 2024, at 2pm. The services will take place at Allen Funeral Home in Wylie, Texas.
