Velma Geraldine Freeman, 85, of McKinney passed away on Wednesday May 20, 2020 at her residence in McKinney.  Geraldine was born in Wylie on Tuesday, February 12, 1935. Geraldine's parents are the late Leon and Atha Mary (Taylor) Morman.  Geraldine was a loving wife and mother.  Preceding Geraldine in death was her husband, Joe Gene Freeman.

Surviving Geraldine are her children; Diane Sims, Debbie Terry, Stan Gregory, Jeff Gregory and Cassandra Zellar; two brothers Bob Morman and Wayne Morman. She leaves behind of a legacy of 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren and numerous other family members.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, May 22, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Allen Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Geraldine's life is Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the Allen Funeral Home Chapel.  Geraldine will be laid to rest at the Kreymer Cemetery.
