It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sweetheart, William Hunter Kimbrough a long time resident of Wylie, Texas who passed away on August 10, 2025.  Hunter was born on June 23, 1994 to Tad and Lucretia Kimbrough and became a  little brother to Shelbi.  Hunter is survived by his loving parents Tad and Vicky Kimbrough, Lucretia and Jack Buckett  and siblings Shelbi Kimbrough,  bonus siblings Christian Buckett wife Kristina,  Andrea Williams husband Ben nephews Walker and Noah, Luis Alonso Villa wife Taylor VanSanders.  Hunter was the cherished grandson of Billy and Ann Kimbrough of Canton and John and Christine Braley of Bonham.  He also leaves behind aunts and uncles who adored him dearly.  Among them are Paul & Julie Walukas, Dino & Tonya Crane, Brian &  Cindy Phelps , Jennifer Aycock and a host of cousins that always enjoyed his fun personality.  He also leaves behind his life love Amber Taft along with her children Hunter, Carter and Morgan.  As well as lots of friends and family that he loved dearly.

He had a rare gift  for making people smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.  During Hunter's spare time he enjoyed anything that involved racing.  He was a dare devil and wasn't scared to try anything.  He participated in motor cross,  flat track and road racing.  If he could pop a wheelie then he was on it.  This even included a wheelchair that he found while waiting in the hospital lobby.  He inherited his Mom's creativity and his Dad's love for speed and with that he built all kinds of bikes.  What some would see as junk, Hunter would see as a challenge to repair or make something awesome out of it.  Hunter has turned trash to treasures since he was a little boy.  One of the most amazing was a the bike he and his Dad built years ago that you may have seen cycling around  Wylie that was 12 feet in height.  He would climb on top of the roof or the top of his truck to get on the seat.  He loved to have a good time.  Hunter attending Wylie ISD until he moved to Canton where he lovingly got the nickname of "Wally".  He graduated from Canton ISD in 2012.  Hunter was the most kind person and Loved Big!  He never left without a hug and saying "I love you".  Hunter will be missed tremendously and his memory will stay with us forever.

We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
