William (Bill) Griffith Morgan, III, 88 years, of Wylie, Texas passed away on March 17, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family.  Bill was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 13, 1929.  His parents are the late William G. Morgan, Jr. and Olga Morgan.  Bill married Alice Ann Schaap on November 18, 1950. Bill joined the United States Army on April 13, 1951 and was honorably discharged on April 12, 1953 as the rank of Corporal.
Bill was a member of the Wylie United Methodist Church.

Surviving Bill is his wife of 67 years, Alice Morgan of Wylie; his six children, Deborah Lillian Green, Barbara Jo Kolek, Michael William Morgan, Cathy Ann Walker, Robyn Maureen Dunlap and Kelly Marie Johnson; 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.  Bill was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Albert and Henry and a sister, Lillian.

A Memorial service with Military Honors will be held for Bill at the Wylie United Methodist Church on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 10:00 A.M.  Rev. Wally Williams will officiate.
